Located in a beautiful mountain forest Lake Glenville boasts pristine clean waters and glistering sand beaches. Spanning 6 miles in length and 26 miles of shoreline, with 3 major waterfalls flowing into it, it provides locals and visitors alike with fishing, skiing, picnicking and water sports opportunities. Summer water temperature runs around 80 degrees.
Signal Ridge Marina rents pontoons and tritons short and long terms from April through October each year. March, April and May are generally the best fishing and June, July and August are great for water sports. For a quiet, peaceful and beautiful time try September and October. The fall colors are exquisite making it a great time to see the fall colors from the water. The beauty of the waterfalls, mountain flowers and foliage will leave you wanting to return again and again.
Mornings warm rapidly making this quieter time perfect for renting boats, afternoons are warm and great for swimming, tubing and skiing. Evenings offer tranquility and beauty unmatched by any other time of the day. Enjoy a family picnic at this time and witness the beauty of the lake and the end of the day with a superb mountain sunset.
